  1. I feel you on The Kiss Quotient, I gave it 2 stars too. These two star was literally for the diverse elements and that’s it. The rest of the book was mehhhhhh.

  2. I loved this video so much! It was so helpful because I always struggle trusting hyped books and i’ve discovered over the time that I have been watching your videos that our reading styles are VERY similar. I’m definitely going to pick up a few of these books 🙂

  3. I'm with you with The Cruel Prince. I don't get why they ship them when he was an abusing bastard AND it was WAY too predictable.

  4. I'm not interested in Evelyn Hugo, the book looks kind of boring. So the hype of books makes me look up the book but not necessarily buying the book. So like the hype? I think it good to for books but really if people are disappointed then shrugs the book is not for everyone lol. I absolutely LOVE The Kiss Quotient.

  5. I’m so glad that someone didn’t like the cruel prince. I hated it so much, and when I said this I was attacked. Loved this video!

  6. The Cruel Prince just annoyed me so much because it was like Holly Black's manuscript got submitted and the publishers went "HEY. WE COULD MAKE SO MUCH MORE MONEY IF WE MAKE IT A SERIES" and instead of having Holly write it as a series they just chose to split up that one book and BAM. SERIES.

  7. I feel you on the backlash from hating popular books. I feel like the only person in the world who hated Evelyn Hugo. ;-;

  8. I loved the kiss quotient when it came out but now that I really think about it, it wasn't as great as I thought it was at that time. Same thing when I read The Wedding Date.

  9. YO
    I had to tell you i finished the six of crows duology ! It was so good! I cried! Inej was my fav! I hope we see nina in king of scars! Anyways..im gonna watch ur video now XD i just had to tell you lol

  10. I honestly cannot wait to reread The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. And The Song of Achilles just destroyed me ahahaha

  11. I just read a series where the character called her vagina her sex as well and I was like GIRL WHAT NO PLEASE STOP. It made it so awkward to read, omg.

    Also, girl, I am so sorry you didn't enjoy The Cruel Prince! I can definitely see why, though. And I'm so jealous you have the fancy B&N edition! I've been looking everywhere for it but there don't appear to be anymore.

  12. The cruel prince is a hit or miss with people. I really liked it, but i understand exactly why you didn’t. It did live up to the hype for me. I read the sequel The Wicked King and liked it more than The Cruel Prince.

    Btw I’m so jealous because you have the B&N exclusive cover of The Cruel Prince. Lol I’m having such a hard time finding a copy of it.

  13. I hated The Poppy War. I didn't care about the characters and it has so many plot holes it's ridiculous. Also, I didn't like how gruesome it was knowing those things actually happened to someone

  14. Yay, so glad you loved Song of Achilles! I ADORED it and then I was both super excited and also a little worried for her follow-up because I was like, it's gonna be amazing but what if it's not?? But OMG Circe is even better, IMO. It was my favorite read of 2018 and I want to reread it this year, and I never reread books. But it was just fucking incredible.
